Lesia's ECD graduates standing together after completing their studies

Past student notice · certificate collection

Finish what you started.
Collect what you earned.

If you completed your Lesia's ECD studies, your next step is practical: confirm your outstanding balance, settle the remaining school fees, arrange collection and start applying for work with your certificate or diploma in hand.

A message to our past students

You worked for the qualification.
Now let it work for you.

Maybe life got busy after the last class. Maybe work, family or transport made it difficult to close the final account. We understand that real life can interrupt a good plan.

Lesia's is inviting completed students with outstanding fees to come back to the conversation. Ask for your statement, make a plan to settle what remains, collect the certificate or diploma you worked hard to earn and take the next step with confidence.

See the four-step process

Your route back to momentum

Close the balance.
Collect the proof. Move forward.

Your certificate or diploma should not stay in the background of your story. Take one clear action at a time and let the Lesia's team help you understand what is still needed.

Request my student statement
01

Ask for your current statement

Contact accounts or admissions with your full name, student details and programme. Request the balance still showing on your account.

02

Settle the remaining fees

Pay the outstanding school fees using payment instructions confirmed through an official Lesia's channel. Keep your proof of payment.

03

Confirm your collection

Once the account is updated, ask admissions to confirm that your certificate or diploma is ready and agree the date, time and venue.

04

Collect and start applying

Take your original document, save clear digital copies and add the exact qualification title, level and credits to your CV.

Important: outstanding balances differ from student to student. Ask for your current statement and payment instructions directly from Lesia's. Do not send payment to an unverified account.

Why the document matters

Turn years of effort into career evidence.

For students who completed the relevant ETDP SETA quality-assured pathway, the certificate or diploma gives your learning a clear, portable form. It helps people understand what you studied—while keeping the real-world requirements of each job in view.

01

Show formal learning

Give an employer something specific to understand: your qualification title, NQF level, credits and the programme record behind your ECD training.

02

Strengthen each application

Attach a clear scan to your CV and use the exact award wording when applying for suitable practitioner, assistant, preschool or ECD support roles.

03

Open better conversations

A completed record can help you speak with ECD centres, preschools, aftercare programmes and community organisations from a stronger starting point.

04

Plan the next level

Keep your documents ready when exploring further study, recognition of prior learning or additional short courses—subject to the next institution's requirements.

Use the identifiers, not just the title

Know exactly what you are carrying forward.

“ETDP SETA accredited” is often used as a shorthand. The accurate value of your award depends on the exact programme, qualification and provider record that applies to your studies. Use the details below as a starting point, then confirm your individual outcome with admissions.

Keep expectations honest. Your certificate or diploma proves your completed learning. It is not an automatic job offer, SACE registration, Grade R teaching licence or approval to operate an ECD centre. Employers and regulators may require additional qualifications, experience, documents or checks.

Straight answers

Before you come in, know the next move.

01Do I have to settle all remaining fees before collecting?+

Yes. Lesia's certificate-collection process requires outstanding school fees to be settled before your certificate or diploma is released. Contact accounts for your current balance and payment arrangements.

02What if I do not know my outstanding balance?+

Request an up-to-date student statement from accounts. Balances differ, so use an official Lesia's contact channel to confirm the amount and payment instructions before paying.

03What does ETDP SETA quality assurance add?+

It gives context to the quality-assured pathway and the programme record behind your learning. Use your exact qualification, level, credits and record when speaking to employers. It does not guarantee employment or registration.

04Can the certificate guarantee me a job?+

No. It strengthens your evidence, but each opportunity depends on the employer, role requirements, experience, additional documents and available vacancies.
